Our raid team can currently accomodate healers and dps. Social members are welcome.
Nestinar allies can be other guilds or players who wish to cooperate and play together.
Nestinar has a simple and robust structure at its core, based on common sense, fairness and cooperation.
The guild management is handled by a council of officers who oversee all guild processes and have extensive experience.
We are comitted to have all members treated equally well and maintain an atmosphere of friendship in which people look forward to logging in to.
There is no guild hierarchy, instead we have thematic groups - divisions, which share an equal standing.
We do not impose special demands on our members outside the basic guild rules. Certain additional requirements need to be met for raiding. Constructive opinions and ideas on how to improve are always welcome, but we expect that people joining the guild do not come with the idea to change it.
Please see below the rules covering the main aspects of the guild. For additional details you may wish to also see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
Daily matters concerning the guild life are discussed on our Discord server. In recent years the forum is mainly used for large announcements and archiving. Some portions of it are accessible to members only.
Nestinar is composed of groups of agents from diverse backgrounds and fields of expertise that are self-sufficient and can operate alone or together as required. They spin a web of necessary deceit to conceal from the inquisitive eyes of those that would destroy them and the Alliance if they had the chance. Influential and powerful individuals join the organization, from bankers to rogues, from landowners to priests. The division they belong to embodies their main role. Through this structure Nestinar has an unparalleled access to resources and information on Azeroth and beyond.
The combat and strategic strength of Nestinar. These forces come from a large variety of backgrounds and affiliations. Whether wielding swords or magic they are the brightest symbol of Nestinar’s unity. The first called to protect, escort, guard or destroy.
No resource is more precious than information. The ever watching eyes of Nestinar are agents who carry out espionage, information control, scouting missions and identify potential threats from the outside or within. Nothing is beyond their reach.
Bold alchemists, engineers, craftsmen and magic practitioners with a keen mind for research and invention. The marriage between Arcane magic and science. Extreme research and experimentation for the strong of heart... and stomach.
Scholars and scryers scour the remnants of the past, they believe that to understand it is to protect the future. They possess vast knowledge of outworldly forces and secrets long forgotten. True power for them is to have the answers to all questions.
Perhaps the only division that is most known to the 'general public'. Part of it are nobles and charismatic individuals that hold places of influence, revered and respected. They are the means through which the organization spreads its power and accumulates wealth.
Prominent individuals seeking to join Nestinar must first prove themselves before they are added to one of the specialized sections of the organization.
Different in their approach but the same in their ambition, they often achieve fearsome accomplishments.
(Trialist rank.)
To advance from the trialist "Associate" rank a guild member must have posted their introduction in the Member Records on Discord.
In-game exists the rank "Operative" exclusively for alt characters, for the purpose of clarity and overall simplicity in the day to day runnings of the guild.
Our raiding objectives are decided in a "Raid Plan" prior to a raid tier and may vary depending on our members' interests, traditionally it involves achieving "Ahead of the Curve" within a few weeks of raid release and continues with open ended Mythic progression.
We greatly value personality and good attitude, but also expect every member of the team to be deserving of their raid spot and put all necessary care to perform admirably.
In raiding knowing your class must be the baseline, not the end goal.
The tools you need to succeed are already available, the desire to do so comes from you alone. The officers are there to help, whether that be gameplay advice or to point out guides and addons.
Nestinar raids fall in two categories:
Progress Raids: Great challenge and fast pace for ambitious players who enjoy the thrill of a difficult boss fight and take each repeated attempt as a motivation. Participation is strictly based on performance and compliance with the raid rules below. Heroic and Mythic difficulty modes.
Social Raids: Organized at the guild's Social Nights, they present an opportunity to experience the content with the guild in an organized manner and a relaxed environment. Normal and Heroic difficulty modes.
See the Raid Plan for Manaforge Omega here.
Progress: Thursday, Sunday
Invites: 19:20; Start: 19:30; End: 22:30
Break 1h30m after start.
Social: Day, duration and objective announced on Discord.
Players signed for raiding are expected to attend as often as possible.
A player joining a raid should be online at invite time.
The Officer Council is responsible for raid management, oversees the correct execution of the strategy and addresses points that need improvement. It is not their task to teach players the entire boss fight or their class.
The raid leader makes decisions and handles situations in the best interest of the group. Most of the time they have to communicate individually with a lot of people, but unfortunately that isn't possible in every single case, if you get no answer just ask again.
Utmost respect must be paid to the raid leader at all times.
1. Boss timers (ie. Big Wigs, Deadly Boss Mods) to be aware of incoming mechanics; Possible other addons if certain fights require it.
2. CoreLootManager is used in progress raids.
3. Details! is recommended for real time combat and performance tracking.
We use Discord during raids, speaking is not required unless necessary for mechanics.
When the leader addresses the raid, tactics or loot are being discussed or a boss fight is underway there must not be other chatter.
1. Raids are a team effort and everyone involved has their role in the whole. There is no "I" there is "us" in raid. The team is as strong as its weakest member. Be considerate, patient and respectful. There is a priority above your personal interest, that is the interest of the team. You cannot complete a raid alone. Strong team means strong you.
2. Strive to learn and improve, be willing to accept feedback. For the team to succeed all must be attentive and doing their best.
3. Come prepared, repair often. Read boss tactics/guides, watch videos. You should not enter a raid without knowing what to expect from the encounters ahead. Always bring a reserve stock of consumables regardless of whether the guild bank will supply the run.
4. Never hesitate to ask questions if you are uncertain about anything, even if it’s most trivial, others will help.
5. Do not go into extended AFK outside the scheduled break. Plan your raid time ahead. Still, certain times like trash pulls are better for short unexpected AFK (to deal with the cat, permanently).
6. If you have an issue with another player or think that they are underperforming, please bring it up to an officer. It will be addressed.
7. Focus on what you are doing, don’t distract others or interrupt the leader.
8. If you have a suggestion about a strategy, feel free to voice it. The ideal thing would be to post said strategy ahead of time.
Progress raid loot is distributed via the Nestinar Reputation DKP System Need/Greed for social raids.
The bank is open for all members past their Associate rank, please feel free to use anything that you might need. Details for each bank tab are found in their in-game description.
Rare materials acquired in our raids can be requested from the bank.
Raiding consumables are distributed for progression and crafted with bank resources when possible. Every raider should maintain a stock of consumables on their own.
The bank gold is accumolated by selling items and materials found/crafted through raiding, gold farm events (where groups complete objectives which earn guild gold) and member donations.
Repair costs on some progression guild raids are covered by the bank
Members of at least one month, who contributed 10,000g or above to the gold reserve, may request a loan and are obligated to pay back the equal amount of gold at a later time. To place a request please post in #the-emporium Discord channel. The officers will discuss the conditions with you.
It is our goal to gather together in a friendly community people who enjoy conquering great game challenges, appreciate a good joke and take their guild commitment seriously. We expect that they will strive to give the best of their class and role, while contributing to the pleasant social environment.
We offer two options to begin a trial in Nestinar.
Upon application approval or a successful interview, the interested person joins the guild as an Associate, which begins their trial. It is a period for the guild members and the new Associate to build impressions on each other.
The trial lasts between 2 and 4 weeks depending on factors like being friendly, polite, helpful, active, responsible.
In case of breaking Nestinar's Fundamental Principles during the trial, one warning will be issued.
After a successful trial the Associate can pick a division of their choice to join and become a permanent member.
